Professional Background
Since November 1, 2025, Christin Myra Willscheid has been working as a Research Associate in the teaching and research areas of “Imaging Technology” (Bonse) and “Virtual Studio / Virtual Reality” (Herder) within the Department of Media.
In addition to supporting the teaching and research projects of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bonse and Prof. Dr. Eng. / Univ. of Tsukuba Jens Herder, her main responsibilities include planning, supervising, and expanding the Media Department's virtual studio.
During her bachelor's degree in Media Technology, she was part of the MIREVI team for two years and worked as a student assistant at Leyendecker eventsolutions in Wuppertal. After completing her degree, she continued to work at Leyendecker as a media technology specialist for event production for three years.
Alongside her current position at the university, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Media Informatics.
